Antarctica

Antarctica is the 5th largest continent and is approximately 1.5 times the size of the United States. It is also the coldest and windiest place on earth, and at its extreme, temperatures can drop down to as low as -90° C in winter. However, life thrives in some places of this huge continent and in the surrounding sub-Antarctic islands of South Georgia and Falklands.
